I Can Code! Camp

Coding is a new language of creativity. In this camp, students will work on creative and exciting projects using blocks in Scratch Jr. The concepts such as sequencing, events, repetition, character movements, and visual effects will be covered. Initially students will work on easy projects; the complexity of projects will increase as students progress. All the projects are carefully chosen to boost students’ creativity, imagination, and critical thinking. On the last day, students can code a Sphero bolt, a physical robot that’s packed with sensors, lights, and sound.

Micro:Bit Coding

Micro:Bit is a programmable device that introduces students to coding. It is packed with many sensors enabling students to make interactive projects. In this session, students will learn computer programming concepts and write code using a block-based language. Each lesson is designed to boost students logical thinking and problem solving skills.

Scratch Junior Coding

Go beyond the worksheets, take your English and Math skills to the next level through coding. In this session, students will code games, simulations, and stories using visual programming in Scratch Junior. Each lesson is designed to boost students’ English and Math skills along with critical thinking skills.

Homework
Practice makes perfect! We like students to practice the concepts that they learn in the class. We give a coding assignment after each class and encourage students to complete it at home.

Tracking Progress
Student’s monthly progress report is the best way to keep updated on what is happening in the class. The report summarizes what student has learned in the class, feedback on their projects and any areas of concern or improvement.

Make-up and cancellation policy
If you are missing a class, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. We will schedule a make-up class for you.

If you have to cancel the classes for the session, please contact us with at least a week of notice. You will receive a full refund of the remaining classes.
